My sister definitely got all of the photogenic genes in the family. Look how great of a model she was with her husband!
This is my favorite photo:
This is what my child was interested in doing on vacation ... playing in the dirt:
So it might be a small miracle that we got these photos of him with my family. Sorry Em & Jeremy - he may have used most of his good poses up with Mom & Dad!!!
When my family (my parents, my sister & her husband + me & Sam & Pierce) gathered in Torch Lake, it was the perfect opportunity to get some pictures of everyone.
My parents have been married for 33 years ... how awesome is that?? All those years and still cute together.
Sam, Pierce & I recently headed to MI for a week long vacation with our families. As we were planning out our trip I thought that we should drive to my friend - Kr's house and stay the night to visit with her & her family since we had not seen them in YEARS and we hadn't met their daughter - Miss K.
Sam and Kr went to high school together but I think that Kr and I have had more fun times together since we met!
We had SO much fun hanging out with Kr, her husband - S and their daughter - Miss K on Friday night. And then on Saturday morning, we headed to a park near their house so I could take Miss K's photos.
She is a little over 8 months and has the most adorable cheeks EVER! Trust me - normally she is more into smiling and laughing but how cute is she even when she's looking serious?
Kr & I both have babies that are teething right now. But Miss K was too cute - even when she was chewing on things!
Ch is K's sister. Which means we have known each other for 24 years now (wow!!). My Mom actually used to babysit Ch & K. So it's very strange that now we all have our own babies. And that Ch's babies are no longer babies but boys! Her oldest is Co and her other two boys are twins - N & L. I actually held one of the twins when he was just a day old - in the hospital. I had never held a baby that tiny before! And his cry was more like a squeak at that time. And now the twins are 7 and Co is almost 10.
When Ch & the boys came up for the weekend to visit K & her family - Ch asked if I would do a shoot with them and of course I said YES! They were so easy to photograph. I had never worked with kids their age and they took direction so well + look how photogenic they all are! (So cute? Maybe handsome is a better word.)
We braved the almost 100 degree weather and got a lot of great shots!
