Miss A's Almost Six Months Photos
Miss A is almost 6 months old!!
She was super sweet as an infant but 6 months old is a lot more fun. Her personality is developing and she smiles really big - I love it! Plus, as her photographer, what is fantastic is that she can sit and likes to look at the camera. I'm not sure that there is a better time for taking photos!
We unofficially started her "almost 6 months" photo shoot on the day that I was taking pics for their Christmas card. G was not so into it (being two and having his best buddy, Pierce, over) but Miss A was dressed too cutely to not take advantage of the situation.
Then we officially took her pics and they were equally as cute!
Normally I shoot outdoors unless it's a newborn shoot but this set up ended up working really well ... and was better than exposing Miss A to the elements!

Miss A's Almost 6 Months Photos - With K!!
The last time I took Miss A's photos was when I was watching her and K wasn't there. So this time I said - you should be in the photos! And I was really glad I did because they came out great and I know that she'll love having mommy / daughter photos.

So I didn't think that I could love their photo shoot together any more than I already did until I got to these two photos and was instantly jealous that they weren't pics of me & my baby!!!!
First - the EYES. How cool is that? I've told you before but K's kids' eyes are all kinds of colors depending on the time and the day and the light - I love the difference between their two eye colors in this photo!

the b's holiday photos!!
Look at these two BEAUTIFUL children!!! Of course I'm biased as G is Pierce's best friend & A is just waiting for Baby Girl Holbrook to arrive! How sweet do they look? I love A's new bow!!! I *think* one of these is going to make their Christmas card!!!

The C Family
Do you remember the shoot I did with the M children ... the cute brother & sister with STUNNING blue eyes? Well they are neighbors with the C Family - this must be one great looking neighborhood!
I met A, her husband - J and their beautiful daughter, C at the UNC campus in Chapel Hill, NC. It was my first time shooting at the campus but it was the perfect spot and in a bizarre coincidence, the weather was also perfect. Seriously - the weekend was sunny & 70 ... before that it was COLD and since then it's been raining cats & dogs.
The only bad thing was that Miss C was suffering from an ear infection. She was a trooper though & still looked absolutely adorable. I swooned over all of her sweet outfits - inquiring where to get hairbows and bonnets from. Check out A's fabulous shoes ... C is a lucky girl to someday get to raid her closet! A and J were so nice & it was wonderful meeting them!
